What's Surfers???
Surfers is a telnet-based chat forum for people to talk to others live around the globe.
To access Surfers, you will need a telnet application which you may have
to download.

What Next?
To access the GenX channel, you will need to join the channel, once
you've logged on to Surfers (note that you will need to be registered to use channels, so type "lsu" to get a list of those who can register you, or make you a resident). After logging in, and assuming that you are a resident of Surfers, at the prompt, type:
zc GenX
and you will join the GenX channel.
Useful commands, once on the channel:
| zu Hello | Says "Hello" to everyone on the GenX
channel |
| zw | Lists everyone who's on the GenX channel and is
logged in |
| help zc | Lists other less-used commands |
